Frequently Asked Questions
Spray tans can last anywhere from 7-10 days depending on how well you have prepped your skin prior to your appointment and how you care for it. Please refer to prepping/ post care section for more details.
Will I turn orange?
No. My expertise and skin assessment will aid in matching you with the ideal solution for optimal results. Before your appointment, I will ask you to review my medical and skin questionnaire. Please follow rinse time recommendations.
The difference is the rinse time. The regular solution comes in light, medium or dark and rinse time is 8-12 hours.
The rapid solution- The rinse time will depend on how long the product is left on your skin before rinsing. For example: Light 2-3 hours/ Medium 3-4/ Dark 4-6/ Ultra Dark 6+.
I highly recommend dark, loose clothing and sandals/slipper style shoes.
For the spray tan application, you are more than welcome to wear under garments, bathing suit and if you’re not wanting tan lines, you may tan nude. Pasties are available upon request.
Shave/wax 24 hours before your appointment.
Start moisturizing a week before your appointment to minimize dryness.
Exfoliate and shower at least 8 hours before appointment (avoid oil base products).
Get mani/pedi and wax service completed prior to your appointment.
Do not apply lotion, makeup, perfume nor deodorant. Avoid Dove and Olay body wash.
Wear dark, loose fitted clothes (no socks, tight shoes).
Avoid getting wet, excessive sweating and touching your spray tan.
Rinse at recommended time with lukewarm water until water runs clear. No product and pat dry.
Make sure to stay hydrated.
Use a spray tan friendly body wash and lotion.
Make sure to only use light pressure when shaving.
After showering make sure to pat dry.
It is crucial to do at least two soap tans prior to your event. This will minimize your spray tan to transfer on to your dress. There is a possibility that your spray tan bronzer will transfer to your dress. Wear setting powder on areas where dress is tighter to minimize bronzer transfer.
